1. When the Hijazi lightning smiles at dawn
I say to my tears it's time to flow copiously

2. I imagined my Slimiyyah smiling in the valleys
So that lightning flashed from that mouth

3. So gently, my friends, with him who is blinded by longing
For I am not stingy like you, love is my excuse

4. And be with me, inherit my tearful questioner
For when night falls I become like a river

5. And the matter of love for one who hasn't tasted it
Is strange, and Qais is an example of that in magic

6. And the law of love is difficult to explain
And its authority on its throne is supreme

7. And not every love can the pouring forth of it be concealed
When the water of the river overflows on the bridge

8. And I tried to conceal the love but found it
Impossible for the likes of me, and exposing love vanquished me

9. I conceal, I conceal, while the tears broadcast it
And what boils in the heart shines like embers

10. And tears have flown from my eyes but then did not return
As Kuraavan departed from the abode

11. And my humiliation in love does no harm to me
But the estrangement of the reproachers with estrangement

12. So the humiliation of love is honor and its torment is sweet
And the young man is stingy to spare his soul according to its law

13. And I fear that I will die without having attained
A visit from my beloved, so I will be constrained in my grave

14. And I am satisfied to travel to his land
A captive, and remain with him, ever imprisoned

15. When my night falls, my suffering increases and my loneliness
And I lack a door to the niche of the secret

16. And my heart is snatched from my chest whenever
The warbler sings in the tender banana trees

17. And the continuous lightning steals it away
So my tears pour for it and it becomes of rain

18. And I am restless when the gentle breeze blows
And I complain to it of my pain and confide my secret in it

19. And in my brain it frolics and my love kindles when
The bright starry Pleiades rise on the horizon of Loftiness

20. It is the green oasis, the good soiled Taybah
It is the radiant town, the abode of the full moon

21. In it is the vocal garden and chamber which
Is the Most High Kaaba for all with a chamber

22. In it is the tomb of the Best of Creation, proudly boasted
Above all other tombs and even the elevated green

23. Through it this place attained a status
As its era became the pride of all eras

24. A station for it which kings revere
And the angels guard by the command of the Commander

25. And a constant sending of prayers and peace upon it from God and mankind
Descend like drops of rain

26. So oh town more precious than perfume its soil
And sweeter smelling in the noses than fragrance

27. The Most Merciful chose it as the landing place of His revelation
And refuge of the Imam of Messengers, his elect one Al-Nadri

28. He is the Qurashi Hashimi the reddish one
The best of the best of creation from the world of particles

29. A prophet, pure of lineage, branch, status,
Self, and descriptions as are his glorious names

30. The beloved upon whom God cast affection so in
Every pure heart his love flows

31. Most honorable to the people of guidance than their own souls
And than any love besides it of righteousness

32. Noble, encompassing all nobilities completely
Except that he is the greatest good without any evil

33. Indeed, all praise has been gathered in him
Perfections to the extent that he surpasses all of position

34. While he has infallibility and integrity
So never did any speck flow in his heart

35. A messenger who granted us eloquence of eloquence
And extended to us in his guidance the chapters of The Quran

36. Ancient words containing all wisdom
And right rulings sent down on The Night of Destiny

37. The hearts of both worlds have it as their passage
And that is to the people of clarity the greatest treasure

38. It softens when recited to it the rock humbly
Yet some people are harder than rock

39. It is the greatest sign to every knower
It is the greatest blessing to all since early times

40. So by God even if I were given eternal kingship
On condition of leaving it I would not be pleased with the kingship and my poverty

41. So thanks to my Lord for guiding me to memorize it
For through it my chest has expanded with joy

42. Just as He has guided my heart to the Sunnah of the one who came with it
As a mercy to all purity-oriented beings

43. So his excellent conduct clarified to me the proofs
On his honesty, clarified beyond enumeration in mentioning

44. And I have not chosen except that I chose in the matter his word
And I praise when I determine the consequence of the matter

45. And I gain more light the more experienced I become
With his news, as all of it encourages righteousness

46. And God the Guardian has made His religion prevail
Over all religions, so it is like the midday sun

47. For were it not for him we would be in misguidance and blindness
And we would not see the light of truth secretly or openly

48. And we have become accustomed to light so that whenever
Darkness appears we flee from it fearing stumbling

49. So what safety from evil do we deny?
And our submission in it is safety from schemes

50. And when the disbelievers have become accustomed to the darkness of their disbelief
They flee from the light of guidance in utmost flight

51. While we and they are two clearly distinguished groups
And the blindest sight from among tremendous harm

52. And the Lord of the worlds will judge between us by the truth
And will decree loss upon the people of misguidance

53. And we ask Him not to let our hearts deviate
So we may be gathered with this prophet at the Gathering

54. So he may intercede for us before God by His permission
And so we may enter among the righteous without any burden

55. He is the Chosen One, the Praised One in every place
To every creature except the nation of disbelief

56. Giver of glad tidings, warner, most honorable of them all
To his Lord, the seal of the givers of glad tidings and the warners

57. He was nurtured for goodness and satisfaction by his Lord
And sent to creation in the most perfect age

58. So he conveyed what He willed and what guided
The people of accepting the truth without any compulsion

59. And he debated graciously with the disobedient rejector
And struggled against them with justice so he was specifically helped

60. And how many who sought refuge he gave refuge
And how much harm to himself he requited with pardon and forgiveness

61. And how many praisers attained through him their purpose
And how many wishers he saved in times of hardship

62. I swear by Him I rave with love of him
When my reflection wanders into portraying his traits

63. So glad tidings to whoever was given good news by the face of the Prophet
And good news to whoever meets his smile with a smile

64. And oh woe to whoever meets him while angry and turning away
So is counted among the people of misery and insignificance

65. And we mention of his traits while all of them
Are beauties though expression falls short of encompassing

66. May the God of creation reward him the best reward
With which He rewarded the rest of the honorable messengers

67. And send prayers and peace upon them, their families
And their companions always till the end of time
