١. وَحَقِّ القُدودِ الهيفِ والحَدقِ النُّجلِ
وما حَلَّلت تلكَ اللَّواحِظُ من قَتلي
2. By the cheeks that shame the rose garden with their bloom,
By the glances that pierce deeper than arrows.
٢. وَحَقِّ خُدودٍ يُخجِلُ الرَّوضَ وَردُها
وَهدُبِ عُيونٍ هُنَّ أَمضى منَ النَّبلِ
