1. With the fall of anguish from that hill,

Kind to the stranger of strange form,

A beloved in the tents of the Habeeb tribe,

7. And if the passionate standing is not found,
Especially when called by other than the responder,

That lengthens, and without a nearby eye,

9. We knew separation from a far remoteness,
And the long estrangement from a nearby neighbor,

10. So we don't fear estrangement from intimates,
Nor do we hope for estrangement from a relative,

11. May God fold the love, for its folds do not
Bend much, and I have plenty of its share,

12. The hopes of whoever has other than my tears for their eyelids,
And other than my ardour for their ribs,

13. When does the sick one reach the cure,
If the malady is from the healer?
