1. O you whose grace makes sweetness sweet and nobility noble,
O you who by honoring has honored the Arabs,
١. يا مَن به طيبةٌ طابَت حلى وعُلاً
ومَن بتَشريفه قَد شُرِّفَ العَرَبُ
2. O Ahmad of the Chosen One, I have come from a land far away
With troubles that torment me and sins to flee from,
٢. يا أحمدُ المصطفى قد جئتُ من بلدٍ
قاصٍ ولي خلَدٌ قاسٍ ولي أَرَبُ
3. And when my sins overwhelmed me I would say, when they grew great,
To God belongs forgiveness, and to the Chosen One escape.
٣. ومُذ دَهَتني ذنوبٌ قلتُ إذ عَظُمت
لِلّه منها وَطَهَ المصطفى الهَرَبُ
