1. O beauty of God's house though bare it be
Our eyes still dazzle at its radiancy
١. يا حسنَ بَيتِ اللَهِ وهو مُجَرَّدُ
ولنا لهَيبَةِ نورهِ إطراقُ
2. So clothe it sombre to appease our hearts
That pine to press on it their blackity
٢. فكَسوهُ سوداً والقلوبُ تَوَدُّ لَو
ضَمَّت عليهِ سوادَها الأحداقُ
