14. So who can count the meteors in the skyโ€™s horizons?
And who can fathom the drops while the rain pours?

And who can limit the sea while it foams?

16. It suffices me that my incapacity proves
Those glories cannot be grasped,

17. And it suffices you from His grace and majesty

20. And the thoughts of night occupied him while it darkened,
He called upon me for a need he found no helper for,

25. And the likeness of Ibn Abbas, none other vies,
The likeness of Ibn Abbas relieves an affliction,

26. Which circles who the fates visit early,
The likeness of Ibn Abbas, for those whose door he attends,

27. And those whose hopes in every harm he aids,
O supporter of your visitors, and reliever

28. Of their distresses, by your right, I visit,
I came while my thoughts are scattered, and my heart

30. And the daysโ€™ worries, while the days oppress,
I have come to complain of all that has bothered me,

31. And befallen me, for I have none but you today to look to,
My matters are plenty with you,

32. And your sea has no shore however much you give,
Had I thought of religion, it found me

33. Empty, with no faith filling my heart,
And had I thought of life, it stirred

34. My heart, with none but you to stir it,
Its worries straiten my disposition,

35. And expand me, though I recall,
At times it preoccupies me with livelihood,

36. And shortly, precautions loom in my view,
Had I thought of the devil, myself, and passions,

37. The whole world narrowed around me,
And had I thought for an hour of the next life,

38. And pondered my soul on the day when secrets are exposed,
And saw the magnitude of my crimesโ€™ burden,

39. And witnessed the back weighed down by sins,
I would cry, but does crying avail he who strayed,

40. Whose sights and insights went astray?
So be, by the right of Muhammad,

ูˆุถู„ู‘ูŽุช ู„ู‡ ุฃุจุตุงุฑูู‡ู ูˆุงู„ุจุตุงุฆุฑู

41. Upon whom Allah's prayers as long as the fire sparks,
A doctor for my afflictions which, when seen,

ูคูก. ููƒูู† ูŠุง ุงุจู†ูŽ ุนุจุงุณู ุจุญู‚ู‘ู ู…ุญู…ุฏู‘ู
ุนู„ูŠู‡ ุตู„ุงุฉู ุงู„ู„ูŽู‡ู ู…ุง ู„ุงุญ ู†ุงุฆุฑู

42. Have no cure but one with expertise like yours,
And ask the Merciful, majestic is His majesty,

43. To reform all my affairs, for He is Able,
And to hasten what I have confided to you

44. To request of religion, life, and what is present,
For the soul has other needs which

ู…ู† ุงู„ุฏูŠู†ู ูˆุงู„ุฏู†ูŠุง ูˆู…ุง ู‡ูˆ ุญุงุถูุฑู

45. The humble poor servant's conscience contains,
And to fulfil them without delay,

ูคูฅ. ูˆููŠ ุงู„ู†ูุณ ุญุงุฌุงุชูŒ ุณูˆุงู‡ุง ู‚ุฏู ุงู†ุทูŽูˆูŽุช
ุนู„ูŠู‡ุง ู…ู† ุงู„ุนุจุฏู ุงู„ูู‚ูŠุฑู ุงู„ุถู…ุงุฆุฑู

46. As is known of you in the land and recurrent,
And ask for me also a repentance that can erase

ูคูฆ. ูˆุชุฃู…ูŠู„ูŽู‡ู ุชุนุฌูŠู„ูŽู‡ุง ุฏูˆู†ูŽ ุฑูŠุซูŽุฉู
ูƒู…ุง ู‡ูˆ ุนูŽู†ูƒู… ููŠ ุงู„ูˆูŽุฑู‰ ู…ูุชูˆุงุชูุฑู

47. My major and minor sins entirely,
And a beautiful ending that yields winning contentment

ูคูง. ูˆุณู„ ู„ููŠูŽ ุฃูŠุถุง ุชูŽูˆุจูŽุฉู‹ ุชูŽู…ู‘ุญูŠ ุจู‡ุง
ูƒุจุงุฆุฑู ุฐูŽู†ุจูŠ ูƒู„ูู‘ูู‡ุง ูˆุงู„ุตุบุงุฆุฑู

48. When the graves are scattered on Judgment Day,
My intercessor to you is Allah, majestic is His majesty,

ูคูจ. ูˆุฎุชู…ุงู‹ ุฌู…ูŠู„ุงู‹ ูŠูู†ุชูุฌู ุงู„ููŽูˆุฒูŽ ุจุงู„ุฑุถู‰
ุฅุฐุง ุจูุนุซูุฑูŽุช ูŠูˆู… ุงู„ุญุณุงุจู ุงู„ู…ู‚ุงุจูุฑู

49. And who am I, a neighbor and dweller in your vicinity,
Muhammad the Praised in every nation,

ูคูฉ. ุดููŠุนูŠ ุฅู„ูŠูƒ ุงู„ู„ูŽู‡ู ุฌู„ู‘ูŽ ุฌู„ุงู„ู‡ู
ูˆู…ู† ุฃู†ุง ุฌุงุฑูŒ ุนู†ุฏูŽู‡ู ูˆู…ูุฌุงูˆุฑู

50. For he has no equal in both worlds,
Upon him the prayers of Allah, then His peace

ูฅู . ู…ุญู…ุฏ ุงู„ู…ุญู…ูˆุฏู ููŠ ูƒู„ ุฃู…ุฉู
ูู…ุง ุฅู† ู„ู‡ ููŠ ุงู„ุนุงู„ู…ูŠู† ู…ูู†ุงุธูุฑู

51. And pleasure, for as long as a bird flies in the horizon,
It includes the Prophetโ€™s family and his elite companions,

ูˆุฑุถูˆุงู†ู‡ู ู…ุง ุทุงุฑ ููŠ ุงู„ุฃูู‚ู ุทุงุฆุฑู

52. They are the guiding stars shining bright,
And singles out this scholar, for what a longing lover longs,

ูฅูข. ุชูุนูŽู…ู‘ูู ุขู„ ุงู„ู…ูุตุทูู‰ ูˆุตุญุงุจูŽู‡ู ุงู„ุฃูู„ู‰

53. And what branches have inclined,
And what star has journeyed in the horizons,

54. All have come to you O Ibn Abbas completely,
