1. Goodness upon you, inform me of the news of the populous Amir,
And what is its condition after us, O my companion,

2. And a soul whose heart melted from the heat after it
By the remembrance, if you were once a confidant

3. For the conversations of loved ones are a balm
For my heart from the stubborn, festering illness

4. Passion settled in my heart, dwelled in my mind
And mixed with my limbs and flowed through my veins

5. If the nearness of loved ones escapes me and the meeting
Then in remembering them there is comfort for the anxiety of my thoughts

6. For if the clouds of dawn rain have not watered it
Then let your clouds revive the deadness of my secrets

7. So charm my hearing with the remembrance of loved ones
And purify it from strangers, nothing alike

8. For remembering them is my comfort, my soul, my rest
It gladdens my heart and purifies my conscience

9. I am the passionate lover, infatuated with the love of masters
I melted for them between wilderness and settlements

10. And I chose passion as my path
To die and live this way, O my companions

11. For selflessness and fragmentation for them
Is from the most beloved and finest treasures

12. The loved ones grieve me when adversity touches me
And the envious gloat over me among the tribes

13. And I am too preoccupied with what
I suffer from my beloved to pay heed to people

14. And excuse my shortcomings and whoever blamed me
For the passion of Umm Umar (his beloved), the light of my heart and my gaze

15. Due to their deprivation of her love and witnessing her
And being denied knowledge of what is behind the veils

16. May Allah watch over one whose innermost being is infatuated with her love
The splendid beauty that makes the flowers go mad

17. The dear one, whose heated description
The knowledgeable among the righteous find difficult

18. With it souls became inflamed in their existence
Disembodied from any body or thought

19. And after making them sharp with the mention of her
Horses galloped to the wide expanses

20. And however much the gentle breezes blow from her enchanting land
The sweet scents, the pure spirits

21. And however much the lightning of passion flashed in darkness
And songbirds sang on the branches as green leaves flutter

22. I witnessed the meanings of her beauty and perfection
With my soul and heart beneath the wings of slumber

23. And conversed with her in sweet intimacy
With the gentlest of conversations and best of companions

24. And when I drew near and her lights shone
Upon my essence, her lights and her Bloom

25. And oh how often I kissed her and held her
As the watchful guardian slept

26. As if the times of descending upon her land
Were hastened from a paradise among the fates

27. And how sweet is standing in her plains
And most fragrant is what is between those holy sites

28. In the valley of Allah’s friend of goodness and loyalty
Father of Prophets, Ibrahim, crown of elders

29. And destination of the people of religion from every distant land
And it was yielded to, as it is mother of settlements

30. And talisman of the secret of the Essence, symbolized by it
The ones of truth are guided to it by every seer

31. And from it the hearts were pulled and inclined to it
And from it the spirit rain descended from every bird

32. And the place of descent of all gentle spirits
With the secrets of the knowledge of the Essence for the people of secrets

33. My fervor increased towards the sacred stone
And being in its vicinity brought comfort to my neighboring heart

34. With it is the pact and the covenant bearing witness to loyalty
For every sincere and pure-hearted faithful

35. And committed, successful seeker in its presence
And the farthest from it, from it overflowed my tears

36. And its Zamzam is comfort of generosity and balm of intimacy
Establishing thereby purity of all consciences

37. And staying for a while in its land is more pleasing
To my heart and sweeter than bouquets of good news

38. Pristine, without any blemish is living in its purity
And enjoyable with the abundant, flooding bestowals

39. With its manliness, every truth is nurtured
With witnessing the True, not to be attained by any deficient

40. With its noble steeds, the clouds of mercy poured forth
Upon every humble hearted and present being

41. And lights are ignited from its resplendent Kaaba
For it overlooks it with a heart and a watcher

42. With populating its vicinity with the community of the truthful
Hearts are revived with meadows of abundant grace

43. And in Arafat every sin is atoned
Forgiven for us by the mercy of the Forgiving

44. We stood there, and praise is to Allah our Lord
And thanks to Him, for addition is only for one grateful

45. In the evening the pilgrim party arrived from all directions
Valleys and hilly areas, fearful and remembering

46. Crying copiously, fearing his Lord
With an abundance of tears like pouring rain

47. And among the pilgrims, how many devout servants of their Lord
How many humble, reverent and meek

48. And those whose prayers are heard and answered
From the saints, the people of spiritual retreats and secrets

49. By Allah, how many glances, how much affection
And subtle breaths for Allah, abundant

50. We surely hope for His pardon to encompass us
And include us both the righteous and the sinner

51. We descended upon Dhu Al-Hulaifah and its plains
Honoring it over other ritual places

52. And we came rushing every morn
For the stoning of the enemy that opposed openly

53. And slaughtering sacrifices willingly
To Allah, with raised God consciousness

54. And we stayed there those nights, oh what nights!
They were beautiful with the scent of conversation

55. Oh nights of Minah, return and gladden us
That I may revive every deceased and fallen

56. And we returned to the Ancient House with a blessed group
Hastening like no other

57. So Ancient House of Beauty, O pride of existence
Embracing all prides

58. O pivot of secrets, light and clarity
And gentle beauty dazzling every onlooker

59. We, the convinced believers, our hearts
And spirits are like the arriving and the departing to you

60. My body is far from you and my heart present
Before you, and I after this am not patient

61. And my remoteness was not out of austerity and virtue
But because circumstances held me back

62. O Mecca the splendid, O bliss of existence
O tremendous pride encompassing prides

63. I wish for return for the fervent lover and coming back
To kiss the threshold and relics

64. I hope, and my hopes in my Creator are beautiful
For hope in Allah is the finest treasures

65. And to facilitate return in a beautiful state
To cool thereby the heat of my innermost being, evident and hidden

66. Allah protect the land where your magnificent tomb is
The exalted, O crown of supremacy and prides

67. And give life and days for smooth return
To it in a sweet and hastening pace

68. To soothe a burning heart inflamed
By the ardent yearning of my beating, outer and innermost being

69. May Allah commemorate thereby times in Tā'if now passed
Whose recollection still stirs my innermost secrets

70. My thoughts recall them so I sway towards it
With fine ecstasy exhilarating and overpowering

71. To the Elected, Allah's elite and beloved Friend
And his truthful companion, the best supporter

72. And his Farooq, the righteous, reverent one and a piece
Of Allah's Messenger she is mother of the two Blooms

73. And Uthman possessor of the two lights along with all
Housed in the grasses of dew from masters and elders

74. Do not forget our master Abu Al-Hasan the Pleased
Even though he isn't buried in those tombs

75. For Mughniya's dome, and the saddened one, and Ramla's ground
And Uhud and Su'la, the elevated places and relics

76. May my God water it, all with showers of mercy
From downpours magnanimously flooding

77. And grow therein every couple with their produce
And flowers following spirit and onlooker

78. And for the Two Holy Sanctuaries we ask
From Allah safety encompassing splendors

79. And wellbeing from every affliction and strife
And ample, boundless sustenance

80. And that truth and religion be upheld therein
And thereby all spheres of Islam revived

81. And in rest of homeland of our religious community
And that is grace from the Bountiful, Almighty

82. Merciful, benefactor, one who transcends
Every righteous in existence and sinner

83. To him is due praise we cannot enumerate
For blessings not encompassed by any enumerator

84. For guiding us, electing us, favoring us
And disclosing to us outer forms and secrets

85. For bringing us the beloved of all benefit
For removing from us the feared of all harm

86. For constant favor and grace with which
He still confers upon us with overflowing hands

87. For His subtle, flowing grace, His concealment
Beautiful, surpassing abundant overflowing favor

88. And righteousness, benevolence and ample good
Generosity, benefaction great and abundant

89. For however much He gave and affliction He removed
And worries He dispelled with outer and inner secrets

90. And illnesses He cured and aggressors He curbed
Turning thereby the seeker of ruin, in loss

91. For how many envious desiring calamities, He foiled
Casting them on their faces in pitiful state

92. I cannot enumerate my Lord, Creator and God
I stand by His perpetual favor

93. But by weakness to fulfill his rightful thanks
I admit, even if I strove, the most thankful of the great and sincere

94. Even if I had this world’s lifetime, I spent it
With the thanks of the most thankful of all

95. And multiples of multiples of them all multiplied
Endlessly coming without a last

96. I still wouldn't perform the gratitude He deserves
And would've fallen short praising the Transcendent

97. So how, when I'm not diligent in preserving His right
And in thanking Him, neither do I strive fully nor am I able

98. I ask forgiveness of Allah Almighty for my lapse
Weakness, shortcomings and enormity of my misdeeds

99. And implore Him, out of grace, support and mercy
Gentleness, ease revealing tribulations

100. And hope for pardon, forgiveness and placating
From Allah forgiver of major sins

101. For my assumption in my God and Creator is beautiful
Sufficient for me is to turn in repentance to the Forgiving

102. We declare His oneness - Pure and One is He
Transcendent over any equivalent or likeness to Him

103. And His Essence and Attributes has no partner
Exalted is Allah over the words of unbelievers

104. And High over depiction and "how" is our Lord
And over whatever fancies roam in minds

105. And directions encompassing or time containing Him
Transcendent and beyond beginning or end

106. All-Knowing, Ever-Living, Powerful, Speaker
Willful, Hearing, Seeing the origins

107. His knowledge encompassed the lowest of the low and highest of the high
And He knows what manifests and what lies in the breasts

108. Out of nothingness, by His might, all worlds
So magnified thereby the Might of the Almighty God

109. And nothing exists that was or is to exist
Except by will of Allah, without any limitation

110. He hears movement of the ant in its creeping
And knows what lies under tumultuous seas

111. Indeed, Speech of Allah describes His Essence
Not a creation, contrary to those in error

112. And His Acts are favor, justice and wisdom
Not darkness, not tyranny, not unjust

113. He gives reward for obedience, grace and blessing
And His punishment is justice for disobedient transgressor

114. All existing things glorify in His praise
And prostrate glorifying, what magnificence He possesses

115. Pure is He, Creator of the most Majestic
And Greatest, Architect of pouring clouds

116. Reviver thereby of lifeless from the dormant earth
Cultivator thereby of all luscious and delightful

117. Raiser of celestial spheres, a lesson
Beautifying them with brilliant stars

118. Directer of winds to the scattered particles by His Will
Withholder in the atmosphere thereby every bird aloft

119. Anchorer of the lands with mountains and in both combined
Signs O Lord therein evident and splendid

120. And in the sea how many a Sign leaves dumbfounded
And swim glorifying His magnificence every witness

121. By it ships sail laden by His command
And palaces afloat made from finest jewels

122. And ponder the wonders in the animals therein
Lowly and arrogant – take heed an awaken heart

123. And how much wisdoms in lifeless minerals, a lesson
To one contemplating, present hearted and aware

124. Indeed Allah filled the worlds with wisdom
Loading it with marvelous wonders

125. That onlookers may witness and realize
The power of the Creator for them Benevolent Almighty

126. And ascertain that there is no god but Allah
Holy is Allah my Lord and Maker

127. I bear witness that Allah has no Lord except Him
God Knowing, Informed of the unseen

128. Sovereign of all worlds His servants
Under His coerce is humbled small and great

129. Standing at His threshold beseeching Him
Fearing Him in humiliation and lowliness

130. I bear witness that Allah sent Muhammad
To mankind emanating guidance and insights

131. He delivered Allah's message truthfully
As trustee, compassionate, magnanimous and patient

132. He struggled in the way of Allah, Holy His Majesty
Persevering until turning every arrogance

133. I bear witness that death is true and all
That follows it: Resurrection from the tombs

134. Gathering, Scale, Fire, Paradise
Path, Fount, sweet and fragrant water

135. For our Master and Intercessor Muhammad
Praised for all deeds and relics

136. Upon him prayers encompassing his Household
With the disciples from Lord Bountiful Forgiver

137. Do not forget our Benefactor Abu Al-Hasan the Content
Even though he isn't housed in those tombs

138. For Mughniya's dome, and the mourner, and Ramla's ground
And Uhud and Su'la and the elevated places and relics

139. May my God give drink, all with showers of mercy
From downpours heavy pouring
