1. O Messenger of Allah, O people of loyalty
O the greatest of creation, O ocean of purity

2. After Allah, you are the best hope
And refuge, O Chosen One, O Mustafa

3. O seal of the prophets, O best of creation
O swift helper in times of distress and hardship

4. Whose waves tossed him in seas of sorrow
Surging at him from every side, raging

5. So he came to you fleeing from his sin
And from time which had been unjust

6. And from circumstances reversed
Leaving all in the verge of ruin

7. And from the anguish which destroyed him
And from the worries which had overwhelmed him

8. And from trials and agonies without end
Except for your care and protection

9. So help me with immediate aid
And attend to me, O noblest of the noble

10. And save me, assist me, and be
For me a helper, O Imam of the virtuous

11. And protect me from all I fear
In livelihood and in the place of return and danger

12. And ask the Most Merciful for me in my need
Which worries my soul and occupies it

13. You are the door of Allah, through whom hopes are attained
And wishes from your highness ascend

14. You are the rope of Allah, whoever holds firm to it
Is successful, fulfilling his covenant and promise

15. O Messenger of Allah, O sun of guidance
You remove all harm and trouble

16. O Messenger of Allah, O sea of light
All generosity is known through you

17. O Messenger of Allah, drought and famine
And scarcity and tribulation have covered the land

18. O Messenger of Allah, high prices have destroyed
The poor, weak, and helpless

19. Grinding years of hardship
Made all of them destitute

20. While the wealthy among them, of riches and plenty
Were stingy with ugly, harmful stinginess

21. Their stinginess did not stop them from spending
In the way of Allah, Grantor of succession

22. So the people of poverty remained in it
Like a whale whose water has dried up

23. What made all this obligatory
Is that each of them was extravagant

24. So ask forgiveness for them, my master
From your Lord, the Most Merciful, Most Forgiving

25. And call upon Him to send rain for them
A year in which they forget what is past

26. And the people live in it righteously
Praising Allah aloud and in secret

27. And intercede, O Messenger of Allah, in
Relieving this anguish until it passes

28. For you is mighty rank
And expansive, exalted authority

29. Lord, do not condemn us through the rank of Mustafa
And quench us with rain, for we are weak

30. We disobeyed, then repented, so be gentle
And accept from us, for we confessed and regretted

31. And lift the drought from the land, and the
Injustice and oppression which have intensified

32. And help the religion, and guide its people,
And the leaders, granting them success and loyalty

33. O Most Generous, Most Glorious, Most Majestic
O Most Merciful, Most Kind, Most Gentle

34. O Most Knowing, Most Forbearing, Most Benevolent
O Most Compassionate, whose affection has been known

35. O Greatest in blessing, favor, generosity, and merit
Which has been described

36. And may the prayers of Allah cover Ahmad
Who saved us from disbelief and idolatry

37. And may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him
And upon the noble, virtuous family

38. And upon his companions and followers
Forever, however long the caravans continue on

39. And a gentle breeze blew from it
Sweetly comforting the heart and healing it
