1. O you who are patient, be patient and receive good news
Of victory, relief, and imminent triumph

2. The patient person attains through patience what he hopes for
Time has prescribed for him after hardship

3. So be patient through ordeals and wait
For relief which the cycles of fate will bring about

4. And if calamities darken and worsen
Then settle down and refrain from moving and caution

5. For tribulations are like clouds that disperse
Quickly, and their existence becomes a fleeting matter

6. And if the stay of an affliction is prolonged
It brings tidings that the awaited relief is long

7. So be patient, may God guide you with the patience of the God-fearing
And the steadfast among the innocent faced with others

8. And know that the universe is characterized by change
And alteration so reflect deeply

9. And make use of your time in comfort and cheer
And leave worries for they are pure harm

10. And enter the fields of trust and acceptance
And thank for the bad in state and evil

11. And follow the crown of the pious, the guide of faith
