1. The prophet of fever flashed from the side of the valley,
So remember me with a pact, covenant, and confirmation,

2. And a life of seclusion, while the branch is a green branch,
Grazing in Wadi al-Naqa, inhabited by Wadi al-Naqa's dwellers,

3. They are strangers to me, though I have a home beneath my ribs because of them,
Their love remains with me until we meet again,

4. When I recall the universe, and them within it,
My fervent passion is almost torn apart,

5. My heart has been infatuated throughout time,
Yearning for them wistfully and eagerly,

6. And pouring towards them whenever the clouds pour down,
And if the doves coo, it remains sleepless,

7. May God water the edges of the valley with rain,
Continuously when its foliage drips with moisture,

8. My loved ones, is there a way to return?
So we can, before we disperse, fly back,

9. As for you, O beloveds of my soul,
I have indeed become hindered from you,

10. By weakness, sin, and sins are barriers,
From good, so leave them to escape agony,

11. And walk the straight path to the Most High,
With sincerity, devotion, righteousness and piety,

12. And beware of the deceptive world, for it is,
Brief enjoyment, it has no eternity,

13. And distracts you from the Gardens of Eternity, blissful and pleasant,
Enduring and pure, blessed is your arrival,

14. And in it is the pleasure of the Generous Lord and nearness to Him,
And seeing Him, the most noble ascent,

15. And bless and salute the Majestic, Ahmad,
Intercessor of creation, whenever the clouds pour down heavily.
