1. The state, O beloved ones, of good tidings
Of family you are, and protectors, and neighbors

2. The rains have brought blessings upon you
An outpouring of the mercy of the Mighty Lord

3. To God belong loved ones who follow loved ones
On the path, leaders and companions

4. You are not strangers, rather we are strangers
In this world, abode of sorrows

5. The abode of vanishing, of delusion and falsehood
It only deceives every arrogant slave

6. Who has no insight or light with him
If only he could see, he would take heed of what became

7. Of whom the earth and graves took
Of the young and the elders

8. And the resurrection after death at the Gathering
A group in Paradise, a group in the Fire

9. O people of the intermediate realm, the realm of safety
And spirit, gardens and honor

10. May no regret overcome you
May you remain in joy and light

11. When, O beloved ones, will be the reunion
After long separation and absence

12. No one remains infatuated with the deceitful world
And death comes to every chosen slave

13. Who is patient with obedience and contentment
And poverty, humility and hunger

14. For what is courage but patience for an hour
And triumph comes in the end to every patient one

15. The grave is either a garden of bliss
Yes, or a pit of hellfire

16. So work for yourself, be not like cattle
Who runs without knowing the gravity of dangers

17. May God have mercy and gather us by His grace
And not treat us with the measure of His justice
