1. I regret the days of my life that have passed
Alas for them, if only they would return

2. So I could fill them with good, and reap its reward
When man is rewarded for what he used to do

3. Indeed those who stray and doubt thought
That when buried, they will not be resurrected and questioned

4. Wretched are they, how lost are their minds
Would my Lord create this creation and neglect it?

5. There must be resurrection, hellfire, and heaven
And bliss for those who judge justly as promised

6. And punishment for those who do not fear God their Lord
And forget the rights of their Master, disdaining His command
