1. O You Who are near to grant relief, we ask You to shine upon those in distress,
O You Who hides kindness, in Your hands lie benefit and harm,

2. Grant us health and overlook our faults, and protect us from the evil of evildoers,
And from afflictions, plagues, blame and disgrace,

3. And forgive sin and have mercy upon us, and protect us from the Fire,
We seek Your path, O Lord, O Best of forgivers,

4. We seek Your path, O Lord, O Best of veilers,
We seek Your path, O Lord, O Light of Lights,

5. We seek the path of Mustafa the Guide, the best of choosers,
And his cousin Ali the Sage, foremost of the righteous,

6. And daughter of Mustafa, Zahra the Radiant, the immaculate Mother,
And Hasan and Husain, the people of the cloak, best of nobles,

7. We seek You, O Allah, through them to protect for us home and abode,
And kin, companions, family and neighbor,

8. And guide the ruler, O God of heaven hot,
He has not ceased to have care for all who reside,

9. For those who have fallen into a sea of turbulent currents,
So reform everything, O Knower of secrets,

10. And conclude this speech, may Allah send blessings upon the Light of sights,
Ahmad the Chosen one, and his family the lanterns of horizons,

11. The Emigrant Companions who migrated for Your sake, and the Helpers,
Whenever the moonlight sings upon the branches of trees,

12. Or the breezes of life blow at the time of pre-dawn,
