1. Our loved ones in Nejd and As-Safeeh
Everyone with a wounded heart saw them

2. Perhaps kindness upon a sad expanse
A heart grieved, broken down, and collapsed

3. Is there any mercy from you for a youth
Whose feet strode to the vast sublime?

4. He has a soul that yearns for the goodness of old
In its intimate institute on the slopes

5. With An-Numan Al-Arak, and which seizure
So tell me of it with clear speech

6. And guide me right from the soul's mount
To the mount of secrets and passions

7. That I may call out soon
For the Giver Most High is not miserly

8. But we veiled ourselves with wishes
And with the dense universe's descent

9. For the soul is from the unseen domain
Brought down by its Divine trade winds

10. While the body is of clay and water
Inclining to fortunes with every wind

11. So turn wherever you wish for you are of
Those turned - so choose what is beautiful

12. And avoid all vulgarity and denial
Of manners and despicable deeds

13. And travel in the path to the heights
With striving and heed the advice

14. And do not prefer anything over the Merciful
The Most High, accept sincere repentance

15. One God, a Magnificent King
Whose angels in ranks glorify Him
