1. I am preoccupied with my night
From all the universe altogether

Say he is the obsessed lover

None of his excellence remained

4. Friendship and sanctity departed
Not the comfort of the misguided

5. The breezes of nearness blew
From the meadows of al-Ameriyah

6. It gladdened my soul and my secret
When it conveyed greetings to me

7. And aromas drifted in the universe
From it, scents of ambergris

8. So excuse me from my words
If you are, O Saad, worthy

9. It is an honorable secret
Not to be mentioned to strangers

10. It is a subtle meaning
Concealed from all people

11. Except from an abstinent devout
Sufi, pure, liberated

12. Who has spiritual state and truth
And gathered branch and origin

13. Where are the people of meanings
And innate sciences

14. Where are the people of significances
And sublime souls

15. I call whom called me
Thus is the decree of destiny

16. In private and public
A reason after being quenched
