1. Abu Bakr walked the path of Allah, Lord of all creation
The One, Majestic, Unique, Generous, Bountiful

2. And I advise you to do good in the abode of decay and ruin
This lowly, worthless world is full of misery

3. In it is grief, afflictions, and troubles ever-increasing
And whoever loves this evil world has no guidance

4. No insight, no fear of the Day of Judgment
But whoever fears the Merciful, attains all desires

5. Saved from evil in this world and on the Day of Assembly
Whoever stores provisions of piety has the best supplies

6. And whoever upholds the prayer duty benefits
While whoever neglects his prayers goes astray

7. Whoever gives the alms duty succeeds
His wealth protected from all corruption

8. Recite the Quran, words of the Nourisher, fragrant and delightful
In the darkness when the heedless sleep

9. Persevere in remembrance, the pillar and foundation
Light of hearts, comfort of spirits, intimacy of souls

10. Stand at your Lord's door, cry out to Him for help
Beseech Him, ask from Him a good outcome and guidance

11. And a good end, steadfastness at the time of harvest
It is done, send blessings upon the Savior of mankind in the hereafter

12. No rain fell, quenching all settled and nomad
High and low, in the meadows and mountains

13. In Sirays, recite it and say pleas
Pleas, O Mercy of the Bountiful, Generous Lord
