1. O tell our loved ones, O tell our neighbors
O tell our best of all people

2. You are our means, you are our purposes
You are our treasures for misery and affliction

3. May Allah not deprive us of you, O our beloved ones
For you are our joy, be gentle with us

4. When we remember you, our hearts glow
And the soul is freed from worries and obsessions

5. And the self is distracted from the lands of its heedlessness
And the heart recoils from the evil of a creeping sneak

6. And it approaches the kingdom of favor, inspiring it
With good thoughts, and the ruled is like the head

7. And the soul ascends, rising toward its institute
From the world of command into spirit and breath

8. Like its state before its descent
Into the body's temple, in senses and muteness

9. To Allah, to Allah, fortunate are its early signs
From the Presence of Holiness, not with the heedless forgetful ones

10. And straightforward in his ritual devotions
Sincerely working for his Lord on a foundation

11. And pious, refraining from all doubtful things
After the unlawful, upon the way of the wise

12. And asceticism in this world of delusion, it is what
Brings happiness, so drink it in cups

13. Then prayer upon the Guide and his family
The pure House, free of filth and impurities
