1. We reached the neighborhood just before Munā,
So praise and thanks to Allah, the Lord of all.

2. We visited the bride of the neighborhood amidst her tents,
Dressed in beauty, light, and splendor.

3. We circled her, made happy by her nearness,
And kissing her cheek—what bliss for one brought near.

4. Our spirits witnessed magnificent feelings there,
Contained within the House and selflessness sincere.

5. A station, stones, and drink—all this is like
A Kauthar; the Abode of Eternity so near.

6. How often we embraced her and held her close,
With a firm embrace of goodness, triumph, cheer.

7. I left, my thirst unquenched, hopes unfulfilled,
Of seeing her again, though time brought no relief.

8. I traveled on, yearning for her in my heart,
My thoughts still turned to her, come whatever severe.

9. I summarized for my brother what happened there,
Though if I elaborated, passion would appear.

10. May Allah, Lord of all worlds, bless the eve
We stood below the stations, coming from Munā.

11. At Arafāt of kindness, pardon, and consent,
For whoever did good or crossed that frontier.

12. Those nights of fear were unmatched throughout all time,
Save only like a dream that came and disappeared.

13. May it be—may it be—that you will return to me
By the grace of the Bountiful Lord so dear.

14. My God, bless the Chosen One, the Prophet for all times,
At every instant, for he is most sincere.
