1. How much longing in my heart is there for you
O life of the soul and body

2. The days have not been long in this abode
And the soul feels estranged from the homeland

3. Except for my passion and infatuation for you
O essence of my soul and joy

4. You have made my mind completely besotted
And my times contort with sorrow

5. You’ve been absent from me, O pillar of my hope
So my heart is filled with anxiety

6. And my tears flow from the eye
Like snakes pouring down from their lairs

7. O tormentor in speech and grace
It is you I grieve for when feeling down

8. Melted by fires of ardor
With illnesses and sorrows as companions

9. O beautiful in adornment and attire
Delicate of intimacy and kisses

10. You are my remedy for all maladies
And from evils and tribulations

11. O gazelle of the dunes and tents
On the right side of the straying and path

12. Will you persist in enduring the pain
Yearning from afar, desiring me

13. Being near you is his utmost desire
And seeing you is the worst of his pains

14. So relieve him from his troubles
His heart burdened with melancholy

15. Kindness, O honorable neighbor
O people of generosity and benevolence

16. We are neighbors of this sanctuary
Sanctuary of compassion and beauty

17. We are of a people who dwelt in it
And through it secured from their fears

18. And by verses of the Qur’an we were enlightened
So light our path, o gentle brother

19. We know the Vale and you know us
And Al-Safa and the House bring us together

20. And for us is the Exalted Place
So know this and be

21. For us is the best of men, a father
And in Al-Murtada we trust

22. And to the two grandsons we belong
A lineage without any blemish

23. How many Imams succeeded him
From him, masters known for their uprightness

24. And described with this description
From ancient times and eras

25. Like Zayn al-Abideen Ali
And his son Al-Baqir, the best for me

26. And Imam Al-Sadiq the fulfilled
And the one of great knowledge and certainty

27. They are the people who guided
And by the grace of God, they prospered

28. And none but God they sought
And with every generation, in every generation

29. The People of the Prophet's House, the pure
They are safety for the earth, remember

30. Likened to shining stars
As has come in the Sunnah

31. A ship of salvation, when
The harm of every flood appears

32. So take refuge in it, do not be neglectful
And take hold of God and seek help

33. O Lord, make us benefit through their blessings
And guide us to goodness by their sanctity

34. And let us die following their path
And protected from tribulations

35. Then do not be fooled by lineage
No, and do not be content with 'my father was...'

36. But follow the best of prophets in guidance
Ahmad, the guide to the Sunnah

37. For he is the Seal of the Prophets
And Imam of the obedient ones

38. And leader of those who respond
The day when they are called, the best trustee

39. Blessings of God, the Bountiful
Cover the Chosen Prophet

40. For as long as pilgrims ride to the Sanctuary
And youth make way to dwellings

41. And upon the Prophet's noble family
Cover the Chosen Grandfather

42. For as long as pilgrims ride to the Sanctuary

43. And upon the Prophet's noble family
And upon his companions, the wise ones

44. And his followers, the judicious ones
And the people of intellect and insight
