For boundless bounty draws ingratitude

7. Yes, and depend in all matters
As long as you are patient in this world

8. For it is the abode of trials and sorrows
Without doubt or denial

9. Blessed is he who avoids it and is characterized
By asceticism throughout his life

10. O Lord, make me successful and guide me
Be our helper openly and secretly

11. And forgive us and be gentle with us always
And seal for us with goodness and righteousness
