1. The caliph of Allah whose
opinions are well-guided

2. And who looks after matters of religion and
worldly affairs so they are in agreement

3. And who when he sees any weakness
in Islam, he mends it

4. By the right of the one who proved true what
I hoped for and realized it

5. Imprison Abu Sa'd and take
from him the agony of imprisonment

6. Until you see his entrails
torn apart in rage

7. He will spend the night with eyes
sleepless and weeping

8. And extract the money which
he gathered and amassed

9. He collected it through betrayal
bit by bit and stole it

10. Alms and charity are not obligatory
on the likes of him

11. He gathered it while you are more
deserving to spend it

12. And display him bare, pure
and proven guilty

13. Like the radiant beautiful bedouin faces
As if from their beauty

14. is a grieving garden brought to bloom
And unleash your horsemen on

15. his groups and supplies
Until you see them separated

16. amongst their lords
