1. O Ali, O son of the Caliphs and the slain
You have reached the pinnacle of greatness unfurling

2. Hear my prayer, O guardian sincere
In his allegiance as much as he was able

3. If hardships attempt to touch you
The most generous hand pushes them back

4. You continue to ward off events from us
May God make your advocacy ever triumphant

5. And lies newly arise but still
Your command is not seen by time as obeyed

6. A camaraderie we have not ceased to
Strengthen over days a hand assembled

7. Never before have people seen in the white nights
Except the sun meeting the crescent

8. So you two remain, never has your unity’s radiance
Faded however long the nights stretched fragmented
