1. What people have not heard of nor seen
Is a soul like that of Abi Ja'far

2. An evil minister whom Allah has ordained
As the worst advisor for the nation

3. With clasped, curled fingers, if he wished
To extend them generously, he wouldn't be able

4. An arbitrator, if fate judged fairly in its
Rulings, he would neither forbid nor instruct

5. To those seeking him, his face shows
The roughness of a fierce lion with blinded eyes

6. If the earth did not grow fertile
Or the rain clouds did not rain

7. Let alone his frowning face
Like a sullen man at the watering hole

8. He has no shame, so if you squeezed him
With an arrow, no water would drip

9. He hurls in the cooking pot with his shoulders
As if he were the cook at the crossing

10. Look whenever you wish at his ugliness
And ignore the sight from the informant

11. If the onlooker were compensated for that
Face with blindness, he would not lose out

12. The stench of shame emanates from him, and if
You doused him in musk and ambergris

13. He is like the corpse of a paralyzed man
Whose burial was delayed for three days
