1. For fate and what one sees has yet
To burden any soul that it won't cure
١. إِنَّ الأَجَلَّ وَما رَأى أَحَداً
في كُربَةٍ إِلّا وَفَرَّجَها
2. My worries fulfilled once cast aside
And God enriched whom it made poor
٢. أَوفى كُميَتي بَعدَ ضَيعتَها
وَاللَهُ أَغناهُ وَأَحوَجَها
3. When settled, schemes take form in the eye
That stir and perturb where once secure
٣. وَبَدا لَهُ مِن بَعدِ ما سَكَنَت
رَأيٌ فَحَوَّلَها وَأَزعَجَها
4. I'd guess her hunger drove her to eat
Some straw though nature did not ensure
٤. وَأَظُنُّها أَكَلَت لِشِقوَتِها
مِن تِبنِهِ شَيئاً فَأَخرَجَها
5. Forgive her trespass made in need
For hunger pressed beyond endurance
٥. فَاِغفِر جِنايَتَها عَليَكَ وَإِن
عَظُمَت فَإِنَّ الجوعَ أَحوَجَها
