1. I have carried for the noble ones honor and pride
The tongues and palms acknowledge it
١. حَوَيتُ لِحامِلي شَرَفاً وَفَخراً
تُقِرُّ بِهِ الأَسِنَّةُ وَالصِفاحُ
2. He has graciously shed forbidden blood
With neither guilt nor blame upon him
٢. تَرَفَّقَ في الدَمِ المَحظورِ عَمداً
وَلا قَوَدٌ عَليهِ وَلا جُناحُ
