1. You have become a shade over those whose power reigns,
Spreading through the land plainly, from them and drawing near.

2. Time has draped over an assembly which it has debased for him,
So he made use of victory, aid, and triumph.

3. When his Lord tests him on the Day of Peace through him,
The sun and moon suffice him against his envious foes.
