1. The prayer of the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Upon the Chosen One, Ahmad our Prophet

2. And his family and the companions who attained virtue
Continuously at dawn and at night

3. O you who travels the valley of Tay
A boy crossing the desert of Tay

4. Go slowly, take advice from me in verse
Lest you reach the two ruins of Tay

5. The beloved of Allah attained glory
And the noblest master of the riding beasts

6. Convey to him greetings and ask from him
My wishes and purposes, O brother

7. He has certainly been given intercession on the Day of Resurrection
And that Hashimite cannot be denied

8. He truly surpassed the messengers and angels
From the Most Merciful at the Highest Rank

9. And attained the most perfect of attributes
And was granted proximity and manifest superiority

10. A savior for whoever pleads urgently to him
A reliever of the agony of the troubled servant

11. He loves and continues to love with the passion of youth
And where is the desperate from obtaining solace

12. He is righteous, merciful and the best of creation
Muhammad is the elite of Allah the Exalted

13. He clarified truth with integrity and guidance
And destroyed the strong tyrants

14. The truthful Prophet honored by the King
And informed of the hidden secret

15. The great seal of the Prophets purely
The chief of messengers from the Far

16. The descendant of the most noble
He is the one truly sent from the divine encounter

17. The best of the best of the best people
And master of every stubborn tyrant

18. His superiority cannot be encompassed
By the intellect, that intimate one

19. I beseech you O Prophet of Allah come quickly
And purify me from degrading filth

20. And make me successful and fulfill my wishes
And destroy every arrogant transgressor

21. For you know, O savior, what is in me
Both my confessions and my secrets

22. Merciful master, righteous and loyal
A lamp giving light that passed

23. With the sight of Yathrib the souls rejoiced
For visiting his grave the dwelling prospered

24. And the best of people in morals and manners
Absolutely the highest standard attained

25. And the King singled him out with guidance and grace
And exonerated him from false allegations

26. And honored more than any who were called
Bestowing upon the elite and the commoners generously

27. So I have come to you seeking help humbly
And victory, reunion and this bliss

28. And I hope from you now
To attain with the hand of unveiling

29. For your generosity encompasses all aspects
Whether the people came to you or passed you by

30. For you are vast in your generosity
And most gracious, rather Most Generous and soothing

31. O Messenger of Allah, your abode comes from you hastily
With the fire of passion pour down upon the beloved

32. So from every side troubles have continued to befall me
When facing them severe distress occurred

33. And the intention of detachment thwarted and distanced me
Inspiring this from the proximity of mannerism

34. So I have come to you to protect me and lighten my burden
The chosen protector called for help

35. For I am a sinner and my sins are many
And I am shackled with burdens and rebellion

36. But if You pardon, it would be favor from You, my Lord
This is what I think of the Exalted King

37. For it is always hoped for the young man
That you rescue him when he pleads through the Prophet

38. When the calamities grew severe with might
And overwhelmed with floods the people of prowess

39. Beside him the troubled one sought refuge forcefully
As such has come the report about Ali

40. And in the heated battle he excelled in striking
And humiliated them with his shining sword

41. He shook them, routed them in war
Destroying the polytheists in the honored battles

42. Beautiful are his deeds that can have no match
And most perfect, if only my friends knew

43. He stopped at the limits of my Lord
And that arrow struck the throat of the fool

44. He unleashed upon the enemies of Allah pouring forth
And in the Being of Allah, He is the Powerful

45. What defenders of armored coats!
And archers! And lancers and cavalries!

46. It touched the heart of whoever gazed and glanced
And ruined my affection, so here I am in love

47. And above that, it has indeed pierced me with its arrows
With the eyebrows of the intense gaze

48. So it has drived me away from the love I adore
As for my body, it has excuses for it

49. It is as if after him there is no true purpose
And it pounds my temples unto death

50. And his love deprives me of sleep at night
And his separation awakens me while asleep

51. O the one who is generous with blame and accusations! Stop!
My ransom is upon you! Stop for a night O my love!

52. Walk humbly, lowering your gaze
Greet in surrender and awe

53. And send from me what will suffice
Of passionate love, O intimate friend

54. And it, if you are seeing it
The outskirts of the desert and the nearby village

55. Perhaps they would show kindness and favor
With what I love of the glorious connection

56. Will the noble tribe not head towards
The one broken-hearted in anguish?

57. I asked You, O God of the Throne, for favor
To bestow upon the loyalist

58. For the Chosen One and the Best of Creation especially
For him You created favor over all things

59. Upon him, O our Master, prayers abound
Continuously at dawn and at night

60. And his family and the best party
Whenever the riding company of the tribe alighted
