The Highest Station is for Your Godly Friend

2. The Good Pleasure of the Lord of Generosity and Kindness
Covers the people, the weighty guide

3. Son of succor, the one called upon in adversity
Who still, during catastrophes, brings relief to the helpless

4. Sea of Truth, Garden of God's Knowledge
In the Presence of Greatness, the Unique

5. Flash of Glory, from whose illumination
The universes shone, the Chosen One of 'Adnan

6. Full moon of guidance for the guided, and with dew
From the creation of my Lord, warding off the fires

7. Key to the Gardens for them at the flowing
Of tears like passionate love with the eyelids

8. Mountain of Sublimity, exemplar of superiority
Who still remains unmatched in the state of exaltation

9. Hero of combat, those who understand his Glory
Are confounded, the minds and intellects

10. Treasury of Blessings, yes sacred
Above being matched in exaltation by another

11. He is the Meadow of Hope sought from him
He is for the Caliph the gift of Providence

12. He is a rain of mercy encompassing all of us
Loving him are all of existence receiving sustenance

13. He is a cloud of overflowing favor, more gracious than a gift
And enough for both worlds, the eternal and transient

14. He is the Mercy of God with which all creatures are graced
Mankind and jinn together

15. He is the human exemplar infused
With noble morals and kindness

16. He is the one by whom existence turned verdant in truth
The source of all creation and universes

17. He in battlefields is a lion feared
Routing the assembled forces on the field

18. Vanquishing all rivals with his assault
Like a lion in its den, with certainty

19. He is revered, dignified, cloaked
And clad in the raiment of mystical knowledge

20. Glory, honor, power is his mantle
With his loftiness both worlds are adorned

21. With magnificent authority over those among us astray
And brotherly forgiveness if the offender is remorseful

22. So the treasuries of the Lord are entrusted to him
As possessor of the supreme dominion

23. And the cosmos is form while he is its life spirit
Rather, the joy of times and eras too

24. Ship of salvation for one drowning and a vessel
Laden with the Generous one's nobility

25. Key to each subtle and weighty matter
Containing the knowledge of mystery and unveiling

26. Sun without setting, his light shining
Dispelling the darkness of idolatry through faith

27. In worship of the Lord uniquely is his time spent
Reviving the darkness by reciting the Qur'an

28. Out of awe of the Lord is he seen shedding tears
Weeping in every state with eyes overflowing

29. From before his arrival the people of piety acknowledged
His merit, like the Saint Jilani

30. I swear by the purity of Mustafa and his daughter
And Haydar and his two noble grandsons

31. O you whose nature is magnificent like the morning
And essence, you are the fragrant sweet basil

32. O you who ascends higher than the heavens' culmination
For you is a station transcending the two worlds

33. O you by whom the fruits of praise are harvested
My master, O valiant Hashimi

34. Answer the one who after him called upon you
And rescue him from hardship and sorrows

35. You continue to save from perils the one seeking refuge
From every evil, rescuing the ardent

36. You were prepared with the likes of it, O you in whom
The religion is established, pillar of its principles

37. Peace from the Lord of the Throne upon you
As he adorned you in the raiment of mystical knowledge

38. Then prayers and peace upon the one
Whom God eulogized in the Revelation

39. His nation, companions, and supporters
As long as the doves coo upon the branch of the acacia

40. Or as long as Muhammad is hymned in your loftiness
Thus becoming familiar with fervor and passions
