1. O Lord, bless the Chosen One, the peerless one,
The beauty of creation and the best of messengers since the beginning.

2. O guide through the dark night, traversing the rugged path,
Carry my greetings to the people of Najd and fulfill the need of the questioner.

3. For their sake my eyes grew accustomed to wakefulness, though
I am weary from what transpired after them and feared.

4. They were the first to leave me afflicted for a time,
As I face death, sorrows and illnesses.

5. Perhaps they will show tenderness - did they eulogize my state, so
I become a ardently loved and accepted friend?

6. O virtuous Ahmad, O essence of His mercy,
Continue His blessings upon all people and deeds.

7. Since the beginning, triumph and messengership are through Him
For each soul, connected to affection.

8. Among the messengers is the Chosen One, brought near,
Elevated above them in a station perfected.

9. So Al-Hashimi Al-Mirghani, your humility toward Him
Through whom you live, hoping for opening soon.

10. Joseph has come in the shackles of sins,
And in You finds a handhold, desiring no other.

11. Upon you blessings and peace eternally,
Lord of existence, beyond error and lapse.

12. And your Household, the cave, and the Companions - the best of friends
As long as the fresh waters murmur among pebbles.

13. The lightning of early dawn flashed from the side of Ath-Thawr,
And a branch of willow stirred in the meadow.
