1. A prayer from the Merciful has shone on my secret
Upon the one who came to us calling and reminding

2. The Messenger of guidance, the light of glory, the master of mankind
Merciful, noble in nature and essence, luminous

3. Muhammad, sent as a light and mercy
To people, whether black or red

4. And the Exalted Lord spoke to him with reverence
And entrusted him with secrets, so he praises the hidden realm

5. The beloved and the beloved, pure, beloved
A messenger to all people, calling and reminding

6. He brought us the great detailed Furqan
And its signs enrich with guiding light

7. The high ones were amazed by him, the joy of his face
Is the glory of guidance at dawn his features are seen

8. And the Merciful gifted him an unmatched way
And honored him with revelation openly

9. And saved him out of love and choosing him
How many signs for the chosen Prophet can be seen

10. Through him Allah took him on the night journey
To witness the signs of his Lord in the hidden realm

11. The Prophet of guidance, the chosen one, none like him
A messenger who came to the worlds reminding

12. And praising him exhausted the poets' abilities
So bless the best of messengers with esteem and pride

13. What more can be said after the praise of our God
Or else bring more well-crafted words

14. The angels were honored serving him
The best of news and the one who tread the earth

15. On the day of judgement an intercessor and intervener
A protector for all people from the blazing fire

16. Relieve me, intercessor, on that day out of kindness
And admit me to the gardens in your presence

17. May visiting the Chosen bring light to Yathrib
And goodness where the lands were blessed through him

18. Prosperity and influence, healing and no illness
Abundance and antidote, guidance and fellowship

19. Through the Chosen one honor was attained and glories
Virtues spread in horizons near and far

20. I am love's confidante, confused by them
Passion and excessive love, beyond expression

21. A heart tempted by the immense love for him
A wondrous pleasure, beyond explanation

22. Whoever tastes the cup of passion, when satisfied
By a delicious life-giving drink, will never be bothered

23. By God, eyes that saw the land of Ahmad
And his meadows of delight, his grave and pulpit

24. The Najdi breeze reminds me of the land of Ahmad
It recalls to me an old covenant between us

25. And days when God brought us together in goodness
In beautiful description, untainted

26. Happy gatherings passed for us in the plains of Ta-Ha
Blessed times when time was most fruitful

27. Out of love for him an obligation is imposed on me
To waver in yearning and glory and pride

28. So I ask you, best of people, exalted in your eminence
Witness this connection in a fragrant place

29. And grant him unveiling, opening, true realization
And profound mystical secrets known to the wise

30. Upon you the prayer of God, pouring torrentially
As the winds blow traces generously

31. The family, companions and masters too
Your chosen beloved ones, as secrets shine

32. Whenever they call out in your praise and sing
Like doves and your abundant grace flows like seas

33. And ecstasy flows when remembering you
And whatever fine poetry appears, the best composition
