1. The mat wrote to the bed
That the foal is the son of the camel

2. So the like of it delighted the layman
To chatter to Buthaina of Qayr

3. So I will forbid my she-donkey
Two years from fodder of barley

4. No concern except that you fly
From leanness with the birds

5. So I will tell you my story
For I have come across the expert

6. Those who competed
With casting lots in the time of shells

7. Regretted me because they
Attended and I was not present

8. If I had been there a little, would there be
One who takes the hand of the blind man?

9. And I had entered the house of the friend
On a rainy day

10. With my sleeves rolled up, swaggering
To slap with the big bucket

11. But I turned back when they attacked
My bucket, so the blindness was upon the director

12. Oh for the men who competed
For slapping is the key to joy

13. Do not neglect it for it
Extracts grudges from hearts

14. It is in the gatherings like incense so do not weary of incense
And I will recall when the times of my loved ones are recalled at dawn

15. And I will grieve because they
When the cooking was nearly done

16. Departed when they had baked the bread so the eating of bread was lost to them
No, by Him who spoke to the Prophet, granting him superiority on the day of Ghadeer

17. Imam Ali has no peer in excellence
