1. My heart wishes you all the best with joys abounding
Joyful and proud of victory, delighted

2. Take from the praises you've been known by
That which you are known and famed for

3. And make the birds chirp cheep cheep cheep cheep cheep
If the birds respond at dawn

4. Then you have as much foolishness and obsession as you wish
For one with much foolishness, a little is an elixir

5. How many a people sought to grasp it but were incapable
And how can one grasp that which holds gallons?

6. Do not deny my follies for with them
Is my flag of foolishness spread through the horizons

7. And I do not seek by them cheese or barter
Never! Others are excused for leaving foolishness

8. No fault in any but me, whenever they rejoice
And I am present, an explosion seems to occur in the head

9. And the two tricksters, they still seem with them
From too much jest, to smack and singe

10. And this doing with indifference persisting
Is slapping, falling, facilitating and hindering

11. So this and that and this then that and that
Thus the nights have serenity and murkiness

12. I ask God's forgiveness for what I have said foolishly
For no reason and none of it recorded in scripture

13. I say to myself, when I sensed frustration
And fear and warning deterred it by night

14. That the Imam Nizar praised him, so be confident
Treasured for the likes of you with God

15. He who after God there is none
Other than him among people, praised and thanked

16. Prepared in the lofty pursuits, an effortful striver
And his possessions are naught but the lofty stirred
