1. O Abal-Husayn, diminished and magnified
My secret is translated from complete loyalty

2. What is it to me, what hands have granted you and who
With the tongue of clouds, to my untying knot

3. I deposited your glory, and I bid you farewell
With affection, as the flower of chamomile greeted you

4. And I enjoyed the righteousness you granted
The enjoyment of the bereaved with the unmindful guardian

5. And I drowned in my shyness with you in a swamp
So make overlooking me the questioner’s request

6. And I thanked you with thanks that say to your righteousness
This is the reward for the likes of that doer

7. And I departed from you while my heart is with you
So wonder at me, one who has left yet remains
