١. كَأَنَّ وَجْهَ النَّهْرِ إذْ حَفَّتْ بِهِ
أَشْجَارُهُ فَصَافَحَتْهُ الأَغْصُنُ
2. Is like a polished mirror where maidens gather
Each gazing at her reflection, asking who is most fair
٢. مِرْآةُ غِيدٍ قَدْ وَقَفْنَ حَوْلَها
يَنْظُرْنَ فِيها أَيُّهُنَّ أَحْسَنُ
