1. Among the wonders of things is this:
He comes and goes as he pleases,

2. While I remain shackled by chains,
My mind burdened by duties and rank.

3. When I yearn to reach him, veils bar the way -
Doors shut against me from people.

4. When the Merciful One decrees this, what can I say?
Who can flee the decree of Allah?
