1. I have granted you, O master, what is in my narrations
Of the authentic books, my recitations and readings

2. Upon those who excelled in knowledge and righteousness
Likewise what my mentors, whose mention

3. Spreads goodness in hearts, granted me
And likewise my authored works which are with me

4. Authentic, not counted among the spurious
Now narrate the records openly

5. In the morning and evening
For you are the most deserving to narrate

6. A quenching without any miserliness
I am not conditioning any condition because

7. I saw you above my conditions and suggestions
And I have an authorization you will recognize

8. In it are narrations I pursued for long
Written in Sanaa by men

9. So it flew flawlessly without wings or feathers
Connect me with prayer, for that is with me

10. When you gift it, the eye of generosity
