1. Peace be upon As-Suyuti, the sea of realities,
And the one who guided students to the path of methods.
١. سَلاَمٌ عَلَى السُّودِيِّ بَحْرِ الْحَقائِقِ
وَمَنْ مَنَحَ الطُّلاَّبَ نَهْجَ الطّرائِقِ
2. O Mercy of the Merciful, visit his grave,
And always remain close to it, never leaving.
٢. أَيا رَحْمَةَ الرَّحْمَنِ حِلّي بِقَبْرِهِ
وَدُومِي عَلَيْهِ دَائِماً لا تُفارِقِي
3. And say to him, we have come to be his neighbors,
For a neighbor has the guest's rights, from every preceder.
٣. وقُولِي لَهُ إنّا نَزَلْنا جِوارَهُ
ولِلْجارِ حَقُّ الضَّيْفِ مِنْ كُلِّ سابِقِ
4. O soul of the virtuous servant Abdul Hadi, you remained in
Bliss and honor from God, my Creator.
٤. أَيا رُوحَ عَبْدِ الهادِي الْبَرِّ دُمْتِ في
نَعيمٍ وإكْرامٍ منَ اللهِ خالِقِي
