1. O God, who has sanctified secrets for the virtuous,
And has purified spirits for the pure,

2. Like Sufyan, or Junayd, or Sari,
Or Dhu al-Nun, or Ibn Dinar.

3. Or Fudayl, Bishr, Ibn Adham and Shibli -
And their likes in the goodness of news.

4. O Lord, make for this servant among them
A share, even if he is bare of their clothes.

5. And make their secrets come to him, in his
Needs, in every income and outcome.
