Despite our resistance, each gathering leads to parting

2. And each union leads to separation
Whoever does not part with you will part soon

3. So why the sorrow and grief?
If death is unavoidable, the first and last face the same fate

4. And if sadness is destined, patience and forbearance are best
Wailing and crying are useless to the wise

5. In times of calamity be steadfast
Enduring with acceptance, you will attain reward
