1. O you who has the highest support in high places,
And who became by chance the egg of the country,

2. And who, when a discourse is flawed or a knot is tangled,
Removes it without frivolity or aggression,

3. And who is the outstanding horseman if the winds
Of perplexities, deceit and hostility storm,

4. And who preserves the sciences of the Prophet’s family immaculately,
And who suppresses any heretical innovation,

5. And who crushes the heads of the misguided if they
Deviate from the path of righteousness and guidance,

6. Your system, O son of the two most honorable ones, has come;
The best of noble fathers gifted it to his son,

7. You keep tearing the endless ignorance of the ignorant
Who can’t tell the difference between criticism and vitriol,

8. Were it not for you, justice in this age would become
Politics in the name of the One God,

9. So may God keep you alive to revive its ethics,
And guard religion from ruination.
