1. If God grants me authority
To bind and to loosen, to spell and recite

2. I will spread justice as light spreads
Illuminating the tenets of faith in desert and town

3. After the carpet of injustice has long been rolled up
As my hand spreads in victory and triumph

4. The best of creation, Ahmad, prayed for me
Whose praises the verses in the suras proclaim

5. "Support through him the upright canon," he said
Can any mortal doubt the like of this command?

6. Who sees me in a dream has seen me truly
As if I were alive—that is the true report
