They said life is division

7. We spoke of a ray of enlightenment
While they dwelled in darkness

8. They said learning between us
Would open the door to discourse

9. Ignorance is but a veil over you
Which, if we drew back, we would fear sickness

10. It is for the Tunisian, in his endeavor
And, by God, to succeed and stand firm

11. And by the two rivers, wealth and knowledge
I spur my people to heed

12. Without them the crescent moon would not have shown
