O you whose path is straight

2. You established prayer in it as a duty
When the Lord of all said: Stand in prayer

3. You are the pious, the virtuous, the Husseini
So let your eminent house take pride

4. We knew you for good
And God knows it too

5. O you who forbade the soul its desires
For you is bliss, in this life and the next

6. Exalt your lofty mosque
The Black Stone and the Station implore blessings for you

7. Since you were among us greatly esteemed
This great mosque remains a monument
