1. With greetings I begin,
To the All-Knowing I complain,

2. Excuses though they be vain,
I hoped they'd make you satisfied, if not,

3. I'm not one to break a promise,
Nor busy with the distance across us,

4. But thunder roared like a promise,
The clouds rained without pause,

5. It abandoned its life,
And seldom found its voice,

6. The sky clouded above,
Until clarity was rid of.

7. When I began to pray,
Obligatory or extra as they may,

8. I found my ignorance had led me astray,
Unworthy I was on that day.

9. So I recoiled in my cloak,
Bewildered, I hoped that if I spoke,

10. You would be gentler if I invoked,
Please forgive me to increase your grace untold.

11. O You who refuses appeasement,
No need for a judge or settlement,

12. Rule as you wish for your judgement is just,
However you decide is right and robust.

13. Act now, act fast!
Judge, for you have the power to cast,

14. Kill, torture, confiscate amass,
None can question you, first and last.

15. But my good faith in you,
Lightens my duress it's true,

16. And my honesty which you view,
In word and deed, rings true.

17. May God protect within us,
This precious affection between us,

18. Who else truly can guarantee us?
From dispersing, making us asunder.

19. My hands do not extend,
Except to a loyal friend,

20. Never will I offend,
Or treat you in any other way.

21. Blessings and peace be upon,
The noble exalted Prophet,

22. Honored is he in ascent,
And those who pray him present.
