1. No matter how long life lasts, death draws near
Whether we live one day or ninety years

2. How strange that all hope for a long life
Yet our bodies perish though hopes persist

3. The soil is just our elements combined
God is Great – we give and it gives back

Divine justice – we feed it, it feeds us

Let ill fortune grieve you – death levels all
