5. And a glance as though lightning is the feather of its arrows

7. As though there are gardens in the folds of his letters
Fragrant with the breaths of smiling lips

And chant them amid pastures and battlefields

10. Casting them as charms upon flowers at dawn
And inspiring them as rhymed prose in the breasts of doves

11. And sending them into the sky, a hopeless scream
Answered by the rumbling of ferocious thunder

12. And revealing them at dawn to the people, clear
Paving the obvious path of truth

13. For poetry is but a cry imprisoned for so long
Its echo resonates in silent hearts

14. It trickles the laments of condolence for sorrows
And kindles extinguished resolves into flames

15. So O meadow of love that Nadi's call to beauty has irrigation
And that he illuminated with the light of smiles

16. Let me split open in your shade a familiarity
For my life is full for the drowning

17. And my remedy is a tearful relief
If only it could pour from my sealed eyelids

18. For if Allah does not help me through you with a chant
I will be miserable at the hands of spying eyes

19. And poetry is consolation for the lost one
