1. For your life! Abū Ḥiyāḍ and I
Have hated each other for ages.
١. لَعَمرُكَ إِنّني وَأَبا رِياحٍ
عَلى طولِ التَهاجُرِ مُنذُ حينِ
2. He hates me, I hate him too
He sees himself above me, I see him below me
٢. لَيُبغِضُني وَأُبغِضُهُ وَأَيضاً
يَراني دونَهُ وَأَراهُ دوني
3. If we were slaughtered on one stone
Our blood would surely mingle
٣. فَلَو أَنّا عَلى حَجَرٍ ذُبِحنا
جَرى الدَمَيانِ بِالخَبَرِ اليَقينِ
