1. Poetry flowed gently to you in my hands
Leaving behind only its most difficult parts
١. هَزَزت إليك الشعر سَهلاً قيادُهُ
وخَلَّيتُ منه صَعبَهُ الُمتَشَزِّنَا
2. Poetry is naught but what ensnares souls
Delights ears and graces tongues
٢. وما الشعرُ إلا ما تَصَيَّد أَنفُساً
وطَرَّبَ آذاناً ورَفه ألسُنَا
