1. May God make the land of Ibn Qadir needless
Of a pouring rain from the strings of a rabab,
١. عَسى اللَهُ يُغني عَن بِلادِ ابنِ قادِرٍ
بِمُنهَمِرٍ جَونِ الرَبابِ سَكوبِ
2. Clouds which the wind stirs above their trains,
Getting a share of the twists of Ukoom.
٢. هِجَفٍّ تَحَفُّ الريحُ فَوقَ سِبالِهِ
لَهُ مِن لِوَيّاتِ العُكومِ نَصيبُ
