1. Alas! The raven perched upon your back,
Alas! Of that dust, some still clings in your wings.
١. أَلا نغَقَ الغُرابُ عَليكَ ظُهراً
أَلا في فيكَ مِن ذاكَ التُرابُ
2. The raven tells us you shall come no more,
Our loved one lost, o raven, we now deplore.
٢. يُخَبِّرُنا الغُرابُ بأَن ستَنأَى
حَبائِبُنا فَقَدتُكَ يا غُرابُ
